Stem Cells offer tremendous potential, but there are many misconceptions surrounding them. In this program, Dr. James Berry (Massachusetts General Hospital) will review mesenchymal (bone marrow derived) stem cells and discuss the Brainstorm Cell trials. Dr. Jon Glass (Emory) will review embryonic stem cells and discuss the Neuralstem trials. Dr. Richard Bedlack (Duke University) will review off-label for-profit stem cell clinics and offer some advice on "red flags" to watch out for.
