Dr. James Russell (Lahey Clinic) discussed the Right to Try laws which have been enacted in 5 states and are being considered in many others. He provided a balanced ethical analysis for clinicians who may be approached by their ALS patients for endorsement of unproven treatment, while simultaneously informing patients of the policies and obstacles surrounding these laws.
